Red River Director, Programs in Chantilly, Virginia
Red River is seeking a Programs Director to join our growing team! The Programs Director will oversee one of Red River's infrastructure deployment and managed services programs. This person is responsible for strategic relationships with client and subcontractor/partner leads as well as leadership to Red River senior staff in day-to-day program management.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 15 years of experience in program management of infrastructure and database platform services (inc. architecture, design, specification, security, buildout, operations, monitoring, troubleshooting, meeting or exceeding service level objectives
Strong Communication skills and experience briefing executive leadership
Program Management experience managing large contracts of total contract value greater than fifty million dollars.
U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident status physically located within the U.S. and or its territories.
Ability to pass a background check administered by the client sufficient to access ‘Sensitive But Unclassified’ client data
Pass a drug test administered according to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration (SAMHSA) guidelines for federal workplace drug testing programs.
Preferred Experience:
Direct experience with technology efforts within the Internal Revenue Service
Experience with big data platforms
Experience with VMware Tanzu Greenplum and Dell EMC Data Domain architecture
Privacy and security standards, including NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP and the IRS Internal Revenue Manual (IRM)
Broad and increasingly responsible experience in program delivery (PM principles, methods, techniques, and tools) and cultivating client relationships with senior and executive stakeholders
Leading and coordinating cross-functional teams (technical, business, 24x7 operations), while serving as primary point of contact for program delivery
Experience in planning, cross-group collaboration, resource orchestration, program budget management, and attention to detail
Proficiency in leading teams to provide status reporting, issue and risk management and other project management processes
Experience in directing fast-paced engagements with resource pools from different client, partner vendor, and Red River personnel at multiple geographic locations
