Key responsibilities for this role include:

Supports Global Medical function with the focus on requirements understanding and delivery of Global or local IT projects/systems for the Medical Business.

This role is Business Analyst (40%) and IT Project Management (60%) for IT projects implemented for Global Medical Affairs. This role has an advantage of being a business facing and understanding business vision and challenges from close quarters.

The responsibility as a Business Analyst is to understand the Medical Business process and IT requirements and be able to document the process workflow and requirement specifications.

The responsibility as a project manager would be to manage the Medical IT projects and track the project plan, project CSV validation deliverables with the different project stakeholders (External Vendors, Internal business users, IT support teams, Compliance-Quality team members). This role supports the lead in managing the Medical IT portfolio of projects.

This role involves regular, timely project reporting, budget and resource tracking via internal tools like PPM (program and project management). Understanding of medical business short & long term needs and working with his manager to identify the right technology solution to meet the Business needs.

Manages requirements and corresponding documentation for Global Medical systems and platforms.

Conducts project review meetings to track status for small to medium complexity projects. Focus on project delivery within agreed timelines with quality deliverables.

Serves as key driver to facilitate project team meetings.

Facilitates and assists Sr Project Managers for enterprise-wide projects in matters relating to project scope, requirement testing (OQ), facilitating user acceptance testing (UAT), product quality, and stakeholder management.

Manages the day to day operational and tactical aspects of assigned projects and tasks.

Coordinates with vendors and internal stakeholders during project engagements.

Follow up with task owners to ensure task completion.

Manages scope and mitigates risk across projects.

Tracks vendor payments - invoices, PO. Tracks and forecasts project budget in the PPM system.

Facilitates vendor SOW (statement of work) discussion and finalization with his manager, procurement team and project team to ensure all aspects of vendor deliverables are covered in the SOW.

Creates and revises status of reports and project overviews for Global Medical Leads and Senior Management on regular basis.

Collaborate with other departments in collecting projects status updates and confirmation of milestones achievement.

Confronts issues openly and quickly. Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely manner.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

Minimum of a Bachelor\'s degree required.

Specialization in IT Project Management, Computer Science or Information technology, however, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.

5 years\' experience required & PMP preferred.

Must possess knowledge of requirements management concepts, practices, and procedures.

Must possess a working knowledge of the industry a well as departmental policies and procedures.

Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.

Must possess excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.

Must possess a strong work ethic and have outstanding organization and time management skills.

Must have strong computer skills and be proficient within the Microsoft Office Suite.

Must have the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information; work with a high degree of independent judgment and initiative, with little supervision; and ability to adjust to changing or competing priorities while still meeting deadlines.

Must be team-oriented, highly motivated, possess a positive approach and the ability to interact and communicate effectively with diverse constituencies.

Broad technical knowledge of Pharmaceutical Medical Systems.

Good understanding on Computer system validation (CSV) qualification and validation processes.

Understanding of the GxP and Non-GxP systems. Medical Affairs IT projects would be a mix of both.

Working in an IT/Tech industry servicing Pharmaceutical/healthcare industry is preferred.

Working experience of 1-3 years in a pharmaceutical industry setting is an advantage.

Working experience in Medical Information Management systems, Medical websites development, Virtual HCP/doctor interaction tools would be an advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Teams. Team is used for virtual project meetings and project content repository.

Proficiency in Microsoft projects for tracking project plans and Visio for capturing process workflows would be an advantage.

Knowledge of Testing tools for IQ/OQ/PQ, and electronic Document review approval tool would be helpful.
