Just like we provide freedom to fix cars and trucks, we also give you the freedom to pursue new ideas, offer different perspectives, and grow in your career\ Duties/Responsibilities:\ Provide technical assistance to our customers by providing part number information and interchanges.\ Locate non-stock items with our suppliers.\ Read and interpret blueprints, micrometer and catalogs (DPI, competitor and suppliers.)\ Place order with suppliers to fill customer needs.\ Verify DPI cost, part numbers, lead-time, shipping information and customer information.\ Calculate and quote customers pricing while assuring proper margin levels for Dayton Parts.\ Enter sales orders, close (invoice) customer sales orders.\ Verify dimensions on DPI stock vs. blueprint.\ Process customer returns for drop ship items.\ Secure pertinent information for the supplier and customer to process return.\ Coordinate the return with the purchasing department to assure proper credit is given to DPI and the customer.\ Qualifications/Essential Functions:\ Automotive knowledge and/or experience.\ High school diploma or GED.\ Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.\ Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers and the general public.\ Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, area, percentages, proportions, circumference and volume.
