Reference #: 139561\ Job Summary:\ The Associate Vice President of E-Commerce is responsible for the E-Commerce P&L for Pep Boys working closely with the head of Marketing and other groups such as IT and Operations to maximize the business potential of our E-commerce channel.  This position reports to the Chief Strategy Officer of Pep Boys and is a senior role with a lot of influence on the overall performance of the company and visibility to senior leadership.\ The ideal candidate will have a extensive experience in various aspects of E-commerce with past responsibility for managing an end-to-end E-commerce business.  Experience in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment is a must with an ability to keep multiple, complex projects moving forward simultaneously.\ Key Responsibilities:\ Lead the development of the Pep Boys\' E-commerce environment to maximize customer service and profitability.\ Create strategies which harness business-performance insights, marketing data, and operations planning to continue to increase sales.\ Provide direction to the technology team, without a direct-reporting relationship, to create a world-class, well run E-commerce site for our customers.\ Providing recommendations for capital spending to increase the performance of the business.\ Serve as the competitive expert in the company to understand what others are doing in our industry with a goal to create the best E-commerce experience for our customers.\ Ability and develop a creative vision for the business / customer experience with the IT team and other business units.\ Qualifications:\ Bachelor\'s degree required\ 7+ years in various E-commerce roles including team leadership.\ Strong business and analytical skills to manage the P&L of a large, complex E-commerce business.\ Ability to create a vision for the business and translate that vision into reality for the business with a high sense of urgency.\ Sound knowledge of prevailing procedures and techniques in E-commerce.\ Demonstrated ability to successfully present ideas and strategies to senior leadership.
