DXC Technology Industry Sales Professional - TMT - US REMOTE in Austin, Texas

Job Description:

What you will do

  • Looking for professional sales superstars in our GBS service lines: analytics and Engineering, applications and business process services (software engineering)

  • Leads client sales in large and complex industry accounts; ensures growth targets are met; engages with customer to provide industry and technical expertise to grow new relationships in lines-of-business (outside IT); identifies opportunities across the DXC portfolio and drives them to closure.

  • Create and help frame DXC’s differentiated value story, develop strategic win themes for proposals

  • Educate Clients on DXC capabilities and success stories to effectively communicate DXC’ value prop to both partners and customers

  • Interact with senior management levels at clients and within DXC

  • Foster relationships, both with clients and internally with account teams

  • Maintain accurate and timely customer, pipeline and forecast data working with Sales Operations

  • Ensures that technical, contractual, administrative and financial policies, procedures and goals are met to ensure adherence to client and company requirements.

  • Coordinates with other sellers and account managers to leverage resources and solutions to replicate sales and meet growth objectives.

  • Interfaces directly with clients daily to progress opportunities, develop stronger on-going relationships, build new and broader relationships, and identify additional opportunities for company solutions.

  • Establishes industry credibility with the client critical to progressing and closing deals sold to line-of-business (outside IT.)

  • Leads multi-disciplinary pursuit teams for complex and larger opportunities. Oversees RFP response and complex proposal creation.

  • Drives change within the account and contributes to a culture within the account team that is open to industry changes to enhance account team performance.

  • Create strategic and tactical plans to grow a book of business and assist in closing opportunities

  • Operate within large teams and directs specific team sales origination activities

Who you are

  • Experience in Business Development, sales, marketing, project management and/or alliance roles

  • Experience working collaboratively with the Account teams to create strategic and tactical plans to uncover and close revenue opportunities.

  • Proven track record in supporting complex sales cycles working on cross-functional teams

  • Proven track record of consultive/relationship selling through increasing revenue from improving close ratios for new clients and expanding business with existing clients

  • Extensive knowledge the competitive landscape and sales process

  • Ability to gain access and influence decision-makers at the highest levels in client organizations

  • Ability to leverage and explore wider partnerships and their ecosystems to drive additional revenue and value creation by leveraging the marketplace by understanding industry trends and channels

  • Significant business relationships and network with CXO levels

  • Conversant in enterprise products, solutions, and technology strategies with the ability to convert current knowledge and skills to our partner ecosystem

  • Willingness to travel 70%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree, Advanced Degree a plus

  • Core management consulting skills including:

  • Executive & Digital Leadership Workshop facilitation

  • Client interviews / focus groups

  • Run end-to-end digital sales cycles (origination -> solution -> close)

  • Prior experience inside a complex matrixed organization model is a plus

  • Experience working with & jointly going to market with strategic vendors

  • Design Client business cases

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the DXC salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

The range listed is just one component of DXC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a vacation policy and region-specific benefits.

At DXC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,000-177,600.

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $95,400 - $177,200.

Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
