Job PurposeICE, a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange, presents multiple, unique opportunities for a full-time Senior Developer (Java) to join a team responsible for contributing to the design, development, maintenance and support of ICE Trade Vault, a high-volume enterprise messaging application. The Senior Developer will report to the Senior Director, Enterprise Development.ResponsibilitiesContribute to the design and development of a high-volume enterprise messaging applicationSupport and enhance multiple mission-critical enterprise applicationsWrite unit and integration tests for new and legacy codeTake initiative and work independently on some projects while contributing to a large team on othersCollaborate with QA team to ensure quality production codeProvide second-tier production support for 24/7 applications.Knowledge and Experience5-10 years experience with core Java and Java EEDedication to test-driven developmentUnderstanding of distributed transactionsExperience in concurrent and distributed programmingFirst-hand experience with enterprise messagingBachelor\'s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experienceBonus Knowledge and ExperienceFinancial industry expertiseComprehension of Spring FrameworkExperience with Agile development methodologiesKnowledge of GradleExperience with React UIScheduleThis role offers work from home flexibility of up to 2 days per week.Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
