Will you join us?The Project Architect is responsible for the leadership and technical execution of project design, building code and stamping, technical quality of project documentation.In this role, the Project Architect will:Plan and conduct work requiring independent judgment in the evaluation, selection, adaptation and modification of standard construction components and systems to execute design intentBe responsible for stamping and sealing bid documentsPlan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate detailed phases of professional work in part of a medium scope project or in a total project of smaller scopeEnsure compliance with applicable codes and ADA requirementsAssist the Project Director in developing project staff-hours and planning schedule for his/her aspects of the projectCoordinate the layout, design, drafting, and specifications produced by other architects and technicians who assist in specific assignmentsMentor junior staff and assist in the development of future project architectsIn consultation with the Project Director, assist in establishing project design criteriaThrough research, study, and consultation with outside consultants and professional societies, keep informed of new developments and systems as they influence the individual\'s particular field of architectural practice and designPromote technologies and methodologies to create innovative approaches and improve technical quality of work product; keep abreast of new technologies, changes in building codes, and advances in the industryWork collaboratively in a cross discipline environment to produce integrated project documents, and insure integrated design approaches and solutionsProfessional degree in Architecture or closely related fieldAt least eight (8) years of related experienceMust be a Registered ArchitectMust possess knowledge of architectural practice and basic code principlesAbility to use BIM softwareExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsAbility to lead others and foster teamworkAbility to use good judgment and make timely decisionsPossesses knowledge of basic firm financial metrics related to project managementProactive management style#LI-JK1Equal Opportunity Employer - Male, Female, Disabled, Veterans
