Preferred Qualifications Position Summary The employee will be responsible for support of BSL-2 laboratory activities. The employee will be responsible for preparing culture media, reagents, buffers and other solutions. Employee will order, stock and inventory supplies; maintain a clean and sterile lab environment; assist with administration duties such as package shipping and receiving, mail retrieval, answering phones and processing visitors. Employee is responsible for the laboratory support duties such as washing and autoclaving glassware, routine and preventative maintenance of lab equipment. Employee will perform cell culture, media supernatant harvesting, protein purification, western blots, protein quantification, ELISA, maintain B cell hybridomas, monoclonal antibody assessment. Employee will have good communication skills and will report directly to the Director, who is the Principal Investigator as a fully productive, cooperative team member.
