Your role at Clorox:
The Transportation Management SME role will be responsible for ownership of the S4 Hana Transportation Management module (TM), ensuring the system is appropriately reflective of the data, supply chain, and customer requirements needed to optimally and cost effectively ship product. The Transportation SME will act as the key conduit into Supply Chain functions, ensuring systems and Clorox networks are integrated seamlessly.
In this role, you will:
Develop and coach team members; execute routine 1:1 meetings, quarterly myGPS discussions and annual assessments.
TM module tool & process owner – ensure completeness & accuracy of standard operating procedure documents & process flows.
Review and refine Transportation profiles, ensuring the maximum load utilization with minimal risk to product displacement and/or order product cuts. Create new profiles as needed to align with changing customer requirements or supply chain optimizations.
Understand TM master data requirements, and validate parameters are optimally driving TM module. Create and maintain as and where needed.
Assist Load Building team in trouble shooting systemic issues, working with appropriate cross functional teams as needed to correct.
Relentlessly review tool for optimization and/or automation opportunities, working with the Load Building, Uber Freight TMS (UF Operations team), and EDT teams to analyse and implement.
Ensure system configuration in support of operational alignment to RFP awards.
Participate on strategic Supply Chain project teams, ensuring that project changes are reflected appropriately within the TM module.
Act as TM point person for all of Customer Operations.
What we look for:
Understanding of general Logistics or Transportation requirements – ie: Modes, weight limits, etc.
Understanding of Retail customer Logistics requirements – customer facing experience a plus.
Should be able to work with Business and IT teams; ability to work with 3rd party vendors.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong Analytical and Computer Skills (Microsoft Office)
Knowledge of SAP
Experience :
Familiarity and/or previous experience with SAP
Cross-module understanding is a plus – understanding of Transportation Module, Material Master, and Sales Document
Experience with Third Party Transportation management systems (TMS) and ERP integration
Education:
High School Diploma Required
BS/BA degree preferred degree in business, engineering, supply chain or logistics management

Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.
–Zone A: $84,500 - $158,000
–Zone B: $77,500 - $144,800
–Zone C: $70,400 - $131,700

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
